Eligibility Criteria
All nominees must demonstrate:
- Meaningful contributions to individuals, families, organizations, or communities;
- Courage, innovation, and leadership in addressing community challenges; and
- A commitment to integrity, service, and leadership consistent with the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Alumni nominee: must be a PBSC graduate who holds a degree or CCP certificate.
Faculty or Staff nominee: must be a current PBSC employee (full-time or regular part-time) who has completed at least six months of employment and is in good standing.
Student nominee: must be enrolled in a PBSC degree or CCP certificate program and has completed at least one term with an overall 2.5 GPA or satisfactory completion.
Nomination Requirements
- Nominee contact information, title and educational background.
- High-resolution photograph of individual nominee or high-resolution image of organizational logo if nominating an organization.
- Nominee biography of 500 words or less. If nominating an organization, please provide its mission statement, core values and brief history.
- Descriptions of the nominee’s volunteerism and community impact.
- Optional supporting documentation.
- Names and email addresses of two other people who will endorse your nominee.
